The historic Emery Theatre - a symbol both of Cincinnati's proud arts tradition and of its exciting future - provided the perfect backdrop to the third annual Cincinnati Entertainment Awards Nov. 22. Awards were handed out in 27 music and theater categories, and Broadway star Pamela Myers was inducted into the CEA Hall of Fame.
Cincinnatian Otis Williams, who recorded several No. 1 hits for King Records, brought the evening to a close with an energetic 20-minute set. King Records was recognized with a CEA plaque for the indelible mark the Cincinnati label made on R&B, Country, Bluegrass and Rock & Roll.
