2004 Show The 2004 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards blasted the cobwebs out of the Old St. George rafters November 22, as local musicians and theater staff celebrated each other's accomplishments and Cincinnati's amazing arts community. Fox19's Regina Carswell again hosted the eighth annual festivities, which began with a opening number from Heartless Bastards and ended with confetti and sonic explosions from Culture Queer. Blues legend Big Joe Duskin and the Playhouse's Ed Stern and Buzz Ward were inducted into the CEA Hall of Fame, the inaugural Cincinnati Fringe Festival was honored and 31 awards were handed out to deserving musicians, actors and directors. Check out the winners in music and theater here, and check out the photo gallery from the evening's fun. Thanks to everyone who came out to the event, to everyone who voted, to everyone who was nominated, to the winners, to everyone who helped produce the CEAs and to those who made it all possible -- Time Warner Cable, Sam Ash Music, Budweiser and CityBeat. |
